Crediton Parish Church was filled for FCN Devon’s annual Lammas Service on Sunday 31st July. The three hundred strong congregation came from many parts of Devon. The service was led by the Rector, Reverend Nigel Guthrie and the sermon was preached by Sir Don Curry.
As well as enjoying a good day out, staff and volunteers from FCN received a most welcome cheque from the Ayrshire Cattle Society at Devon County Show in May 2011.
John Lee, Chairman of Governors at Bicton College, presented the Bicton Jubilee Award 2010 to Brian Warren MBE for his significant and distinctive contribution to the agricultural industry in Devon through his work with Farm Crisis Network. Brian is the FCN Coordinator for Devon.

FCN has been working in Devon for over 12 years, and gained a huge amount of experience and profile through the Foot & Mouth Disease outbreak in 2001. Devon FCN is coordinated by Brian Warren, a dairy farmer from Crediton, and has one of the highest workloads in the country.
