Glyn Evans appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire
The Reverend Canon Glyn Evans, our regional director for the central counties, has been appointed a Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire.
Glyn was specifically asked to take the post in order to represent rural and farming issues in addition to church matters.
Deputy Lieutenants are appointed by the Lord Lieutenant for the contribution they have made to the life of the county and everyone at FCN offers Glyn their congratulations and good wishes as he undertakes his duties.
Christopher Jones collects MBE at the Palace
Christopher Jones, FCN’s Honorary President, was presented with his MBE by Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 30th November 2011. The picture shows left to right: daughter Annabel, wife Ita, Christopher and daughter Catherine. Congratulations again!
